Published in Creepy Vol. 2 #9 (1990). At the issue’s end, Uncle Creepy asks  to his readers if they like the just discovered talent of Edvin Biukovic. As the editor (Josep Toutain) was mainly an artists’ agent, does anybody know if it was ever published in the USA?

Toutain was “the person to blame” for all those great Spanish artists (José González, Esteban Maroto, Sanjulian, José Ortiz, …) that drew for Warren’s magazines during the 1960’s and 1970’s.

Curiosities: Nexus by Matt Wagner (fan mail)

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

When indexing Nexus #6 (Capital Comics, 1983 series) for GCD I found this rare drawing by Grendel’s Matt Wagner in the letters section.

As you can see in the index, the issue is dated in March 1984.

I will try to confirm it was actually made by him (and no one else also called Matt Wagner).
